Model Test Research on Preloading Combined with Solar Thermal Drainage Consolidation Technology
Solar thermal drainage consolidation technology uses solar energy to heat the soft soil foundation, combined with shaft drainage and consolidation, thereby improving the treatment effect of the soft foundation. To test the reinforcement effect of this technology, a model test of drainage consolidation of shaft foundation was carried out to compare and test the settlement and pore water pressure development law of conventional preloading and solar thermal drainage consolidation of soft foundation. The results show that the solar energy forms a temperature field, which increases the temperature of the foundation soil by an average of 15°C; the solar cycle temperature change caused the pore pressure in the soil to fluctuate with an amplitude of 10 kPa; the solar energy accelerates the process of drainage and consolidation of soft soil, and increases the consolidation coefficient of the model foundation by 1.54. The time required for soil consolidation to reach 90% is reduced by 34%; solar heating also increases the final settlement of the model foundation by 12%, which has a positive significance for accelerating the stability of soft foundation settlement and reducing post-construction settlement.
