was used for data processing.The results show that the scientific knowledge level on earthquake prevention and disaster reduction of residents in Liyang is above the average level

but there is still a lack of knowledge on earthquake prediction information release and relevant laws and regulations.Community residents have a strong and practical knowledge demand for earthquake prevention and disaster reduction.What they want to know most is self-help and mutual rescue knowledge.They prefer popular science lectures and emergency drills.The evaluation on science popularization and publicity of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction in our province is above average.This investigation provides a theoretical basis for the publicity of community earthquake prevention and disaster reduction in Liyang.
