which combines the advantages of caisson and pile groups
is a new type of deep water foundation for bridge crossing rivers or seas.CCPF is usually subjected to horizontal loads and moments caused by wind
ocean wave or earthquake due to the complicated marine environment.Research on lateral dynamic characteristics of CCPF has become the important guarantee for rational design and engineering application of this foundation.Based on the dynamic Winkler model
nonlinear analysis methods in the frequency domain and time domain for CCPF were proposed respectively. The reliability of the simplified methods was validated by comparing with the results from finite element simulations. Then
the scour effect on lateral vibration of CCPF was also analyzed. The results show that stress history and nonlinear characteristics of soil have significant influence on dynamic impedance
resonant amplitude and resonant frequency of CCPF.
