This paper mainly studies the dynamic impact response of restrained steel beams at different temperatures.Using the general nonlinear finite element analysis program ANSYS/LSDYNA
the response behavior of steel beams with different end restrained conditions
including fixed-fixed and fixed-axial spring combinations
at different temperatures is simulated respectively.Under the combined action of temperature and impact
the temperature effects on displacement response
impact force-time history and impulse are analyzed.According to the analysis of the impact force-time history curve
the variation trend of the maximum contact force with temperature is similar to the variation trend of the yield strength reduction coefficient of steel with temperature given by EC3.The mid-span transversal deflection increases with the rise of temperature.Furthermore
the effects of impact velocity
mass-velocity combination and transverse stiffener on the deformation of the beam under the combination action of temperature and impact load are also presented.
