In order to ensure the safety of the nearby high-speed rail operations during the construction of steel truss beam pushing and traversing
Plaxis 3 dsoftware is used to simulate the range of deformation of the surrounding soil and the displacement of closed high-speed railway piers during the steel truss beam traverse.Furthermore
the settlement and horizontal displacement of the nearby high-speed railway piers are also investigated by field high-frequency measurement.Comparison of numerical calculation and field test results show that the deformation of soil continues to extend to the nearby high-speed railway line
and the impact of the soil around the high-speed railway piers is relatively obvious during the pushing and traversing process of steel truss beam.The vertical settlement and horizontal displacement of piers are basically stable
fluctuating within the range of warning value.Vertical settlement of piers is almost unaffected and horizontal displacement is relatively affected.Results can provide a reliable reference for the similar construction of the superstructure near the existing high-speed railway bridges.
