Experimental Study on the Effect of Temperature on the Zero Drift of Strong Motion Recorder
This article discusses 7 kinds of the most widely utilized strong-motion recorders that have been employed by the National Strong-motion Monitoring Platform. In a dummy work environment with 5 testing points from the highest to the lowest temperature
through detecting the instinct-noise of the strong-motion recorders
the values of zero drift of the recorders in different testing points were analyzed. Our conclusion is that the zero drift of GDQJ2 is the highest
and the values of BASALT and EADS are relatively lower. All the 7 kinds of strong-motion recorders comply with the industry standards. This experiment can also be a reference of detecting the zero drift of the recorders in the real work environment.
