Power Transmission Line Progressive Collapsed Analysis under Strong Wind Load
Based on the Panit-an-Nabas power transmission line of the PANAY Island by typhoon"Yolanda"
which is 138 kV dual-circuit project in Philippines
simulation transmission line collapsed and the analysis of large-area fracture are shown. In this study
the transmission line is established to three-tower and four-line finite element model in ABAQUS software. The wind-induced progressive collapse of transmission tower-line is simulated by birth-to-death element technique and display integral method.Based on the Kaimal fluctuating wind power spectrum and harmonic superposition method
the wind field is constructed by MATLAB commercial software.Compared with the details of survey
the numerical simulation results demonstrate that this method could describe the transmission tower-line systems collapse performance and path clearly
and can contribute significantly to explain the reason of damage accurately and reasonably in the future.
