Review of Analytical Models for Vertical-borehole Ground Heat Exchangers and Energy Piles
is an innovative energy-saving technology. In this paper
principle of heat transfer underground is firstly introduced
then developments of analytical models of vertical-borehole ground heat exchangers and energy piles are overviewed. Infinite/finite line heat source
cylindrical heat source and spiral heat source models are mainly discussed and compared. The influence of anisotropic heat transfer media(soil) is also summarized. Finally
the feasibility of different models is recommended according to particular circumstances and the current problems and potential development direction are stressed.
