Wind pressure characteristics of dome structures with openings are studied by CFD(computational fluid dynamics)method. For different wind velocities and wind directions
mean wind pressure distributions are systematically studied for dome structures with a single opening and multiple opening on different locations.Mean wind pressure distribution principles are obtained for dome structures with different opening forms. The results show that wind pressure characteristics of dome structures are closely correlated to opening forms
locations and wind directions. The study results provide reliable theoretical basis for the wind resisting design of dome structures with openings.
