Model Experimental Research on Disaster Prevention of Slope Stability in Loess Mudstone Contacted Zones Using Geotextile
Slope stability of loess mudstone contacted zones in Inner Mongolia is regarded as the study object
and subgrade slope model experiment of loess mudstone contacted zones is designed.Some engineering protection measures are considered
and the Mirafi-H2Ri geotextile is selected due to its hydrophobic property.It is adept in transporting the storm water which infiltrates from the surface of loess layer out of the slope.The interfacial slip between loess layer and mudstone is prevented.The measuring results of pore water pressure are collected in loess layer by pore water pressure sensor which is embeded in the slope body
and the moisture content of loess layer at some position are tested.The slope stability is evaluated through using the Mirafi-H2Ri geotextile before and after.The results show that Mirafi-H2Ri geotextile can transfer the storm water out of the slope through its own diversion channels
and the pore water pressure and moisture content are decreased along the interface significantly.The Mirafi-H2Ri geotextile can be used in slope surface to delay or avoid emergence of interfacial in loess mudstone contacted zones.
