Research on the Seismic Responses of Underground Structures Considering the Soil and Structure Contact
the numerical simulation method was used to evaluate the structural responses by interstory drift angle. The structural seismic responses were calculated when the contact surface is binding and the contact friction coefficient is 0.2 and 0.4 respectively under the three conditions which are the elastic soil contacts with the elastic structure
the elastic-plastic soil contacts with the elastic structure and the elastic-plastic soil contacts with the elastic-plastic soil structure.Meanwhile
the relative modulus of soil-structure was changed. The moment of the maximum structural deformation at the instant of peak acceleration
peak displacement and peak velocity was extracted to contrast the interlayer displacement angles when the friction coefficient of the contact surface is 0.2 and 0.4 and the binding condition. The results show that the mechanical properties of the material are different
and the influence of the contact characteristics on the structural responses is different. The influence of the contact characteristics on the seismic response of underground structures was analyzed by changing the depth of the structure. The results show that the influence of the contact characteristics on the seismic responses of underground structures is relatively great for shallow-buried structure
the influence is small for deep-buried structure
and the peak acceleration instant is the control time for the shallow-buried structure
while the peak displacement instant is the control time for the deepburied structure.
