Research on RC Frame Structure Seismic Performance with Different Connecting Methods of Plate Stairs
five kinds of static pushover models have been established to study the influence on the seismic performance of frame by analyzing structural performance point
inter-story displacement angle
stiffness degradation
and yield mechanism
which include the model containing stairs or not
strengthening the frame’s corner columns in stair
using the sliding connection to stair board
and adding ladder columns. The analysis results are as follows.Whether strengthening corner columns in stair or using sliding connections to stair board can increase the ductility of the structure
by contrast
the model with sliding connection not only has greater ductility but also has the most significant influence on structural performance point; Moreover
from the result of structural stiffness degradation
such connections can keep the structural lateral stiffness better. When it comes to the yielding mechanism
in spite of the enhancing for some structural members
the model using sliding connections turns out to be ideal; In addition
the staircases with resistance connections are severely damaged
and adding ladder columns causes havoc on ladder columns
