Application of Flexible Rockfall Protective Structure in the Slope Protection of Chang-kun Line
Considering enormous damage to flexible protective structures
combined with the application of new high-speed railway to Chang-Kun segment of Shanghai-Kunming line
for ensuring that the RXI-200 structure has sufficient impact resistance
we carried out numerical simulations and full-scale test.First
by using numerical simulation technology
we simulated the whole process of rockfall impact on passive flexible structure and studied the deformation characteristics and the weaknesses of system.Based on the results of numerical simulation we put forward the corresponding recommendations for improvement.Then we carried out the full-size test of the improved structure.The system successfully intercepted 2000 kJ rockfall impact energy.Numerical and experimental results show that:the improved RXI-200 system has high deformation and energy dissipation capacity
