The Implementation of Dynamic Effective Stress Method Based on Matasovic Constitutive Model in ABAQUS Software
Martin-Finn dynamic pore water pressure incremental model simplified by Byrne is used to describe the liquefaction characteristics of the soil
combined with the pore water pressure incremental model and the Matasovic viscoelasticity constitutive model
then we develop the subprogram in ABAQUS software and simulate the growth of vibration pore pressure of the liquefiable site by numerical computation. The sub-program is preliminarily verified the ability of dynamic effective stress analysis through a simple liquefiable site
and the total stress method and the effective stress method are used respectively in a typical liquefiable site analysis
and the comparison of the ground acceleration and acceleration response spectrum and the shear strain time history curve of representative element is given. The above results preliminarily demonstrate the ability of the sub-program to simulate the liquefiable characteristics of the liquefiable site. This indicates that the sub-program developed by the authors can better simulate the development of the vibration pore pressure of the liquefied site
and it can be used to predict the trend of earthquake liquefaction of the site.
