Research on Bending and Sliding Deformation Failure Mechanism of Jiaxi Landslide of Yalong River
In order to reproduce the deformation and failure process and analyze the deformation failure mode of Jiaxi landslide
based on the geologic structure model and the base contact friction experiment method
the evolution and characteristics of bending deformation are studied and the discrete element numerical simulation is also used for comparison.The experimental results show that the deformation and failure mode of Jiaxi landslide is typical bending and sliding
in which the anti-inclined stratified rock mass bends towards the free surface
the interlayer dislocates to form the tensile crack and slide instability.The main factors for the formation of Jiaxi landslide are steep dip layer rock mass
highly steep slope type
free surface and bedding outside joint development.Under the rainstorm the action of secondary slide revival may occur.
