To improve the seismic performance of shear walls located in the bottom zone of super high-rise buildings
the steel plate-reinforced concrete composite shear wall(SPRCW)has been used in engineering practice increasingly.Comparison of test results based on the traditional reinforced concrete shear wall and SPRCW indicates that the analytical model is reasonable and the inelastic behavior of the SPRCW can be predicted well by the numerical analysis based on OpenSees. The primary parameters include axial load ratio and the ratio of steel plate.Numerical analytical results indicate that compared with the conventional RC shear walls
the lateral load carrying capacity
ductility and energy dissipation capacity of SPRCW are improved significantly. In addition
the axial load ratio and the ratio of steel plate have significant effects on seismic performance of SPRCW.
