Slope environment is directly related to the economic benefit of an engineering project.The stability of high bedding rock slope is mainly affected by the construction and mechanical properties of weak structure planes.In this paper
the slope safety factor based on the strength reduction method(SRM)was used as the slope stability evaluation index.The FLAC3 Dsoftware is applied to a nonlinear finite element analysis(NFEA)of the stability of the high bedding rock slope
and the influence law of the inclination and shear strength of the weak structure plane
slope gradient and slope height on its stability was numerically discussed
respectively.And two failure modes of the high bedding rock slope and the sliding shear failure mechanism were emphatically put forward.The analytical hierarchy process(AHP)was adopted to compare the sensitivity of the slope stability in various influencing factors.The results show that the weight of the structural plane shear strength for the slope stability is the largest one
the structural plane inclination is the second one
and the influence of the slope gradient and the slope height is relatively small.
