The wedge block shunt structure is a new type of disaster prevention and mitigation engineering structures
and plays an important role in disaster prevention.The study on its damage caused by explosions and other special loads is very important.All of the simulations in this article are based on ANSYS/AUTODYN software.First
the smooth particle hydrodynamics(SPH) and concrete RHT model are used to simulate previous test.Through comparison between experimental and simulation results
the feasibility of using the SPH algorithm and the RHT model of concrete to simulate explosion damage to concrete medium is verified.Then the full-size model of the concrete wedge block shunt dam is established
using the same algorithms and material constitutive
to simulate internal explosion damage and stress wave propagation.Through the analysis of simulation results
the mechanism of the formation of explosion crater in the concrete medium is studied
and the explosion crater morphological characteristics and the upper and lower concrete damage characteristics and the range of broken area are revealed.The law of the shock wave propagation and concrete projectile is also studied.
