Hazard Assessment of Rockfall in Highly Seismic Region Longnan,Gansu
What causes rock-fall is the influence of inner formation conditions and external trigger factors.Based on a lot of field investigations and laboratory study
the paper does the research on that how different factors exercise the multiple-layered and different influences on rock-fall
such as engineering geological rock group
fault density
grade
slope height
PGA
average daily maximum precipitation and vegetation coverage.Using analytical hierarchy process and geographical information systems
the paper gets the map of hazard distribution of rock-fall and conducts hazard assessment of rock-fall in highly seismic region of Longnan
Gansu. It is the basis that doing research into correlation between different influence factors and rock-fall
and the method of rock-fall hazard analysis and zonation presented in this paper has some practical value.
