To investigate the influence laws of seismic excitation on tunnel structures passing through a weathered ditch
a three-dimensional elastoplastic numerical simulation model is established and a time history nonlinear analysis is performed. Then a parametric study is conducted to compare the peak values of dynamic responses of liners under different conditions of the properties of the weathered ditch. And the influence of angle between the weathered ditch and the tunnel transection on the seismic responses of tunnel structures is investigated. Finally
the effects of property of grouting layer and secondary liner on the peak values of structure internal forces are studied. The results show that increasing the ditch angle is helpful in reducing the displacement of ground. The peak values of internal forces of secondary liner can be minimized by setting the ditch angle to a certain value. The internal force of liners increases as the modulus of the weathered ditch increases. The increasing modulus of grouting layer to some extent diminishes the internal force of liners. When the modulus of secondary liner increases
both the peak values and amplitude of fluctuation of internal force increase.
