Influence of Crack-depth Ratio on Fracture Features of Different Strength Grade of Concrete
Double-K fracture model which is recommend by Norm for fracture test of hydraulic concrete of China was used for determining the fracture parameters of concrete specimens(C25
C35)
when the initial crack-depth ratios ranging from 0.2 to 0.5 and the influence of different crack-depth ratios on fracture features for two strength grade concrete was studied. The results show that the initial load and the maximum load of concrete decrease with the increase of initial crack-depth ratios
the toughness of three-point bending beam′s concrete specimen is better when the initial crack-depth ratio is 0.3 or 0.4
the values of initiation toughness and unstable toughness change little and both can be considered as constant. The higher the strength grade
the greater the fracture energy. The fracture energy varies with the crack-depth ratio
and gets a maximum when crack-depth ratio is 0.3 or 0.4.
