Experimental Study on Mechanical Properties of Q460 High Strength Steel at Elevated Temperature
on strength and elastic modulus of Q460 high strength steel at elevated temperatures through constant temperature tension and dynamic tests.The yield strength
ultimate strength and elastic modulus as functions of temperature were obtained by fitting of the test results.The comparison was also made between the Q460 steel and the ordinary steel.The study shows that the strength and elastic modulus decrease with the increase of temperature;the reduction factor of the Q460 steel is higher than that of conventional steels;under the same condition
the fire resistance of Q460 steel structures is better than that of conventional steel structures.
