the calculation formula of the safety factor on sliding stability in condition of extreme snow disaster is derived.Secondly
through the calculation and analysis
the variation law of the safety factor on sliding stability with the changes of water depth in cracks
slope height
slope angle
inclination of structural surface of rock slope is revealed
so is the relationship between the factor and frost depth. Then diagrams which express the relationship between the coefficients of sliding stability and geometric factors are drawn when the rock slope is saturated.Studies show that
when considering the impact of extreme snow disaster
the safety factor on sliding stability of rock slope changes significantly. The safety factor decreases when the depth of the water in cracks
slope angle and inclination of structural surface increase
and when the shear strength of structural surface decreases. The effect of the frost pressure on the safety factor of sliding slope is more obvious when the depth of water in cracks is greater
slope height is lower
slope angle is smaller
and inclination of structural surface is bigger. At last
several suggestions are given for prevention and control measures of sliding slope.
