Status Quo of Research on Measurement of Ground Vibration Induced by Rail Transit
Abstract
The existing field measurement on ground vibration induced by rail transit operation mostly concentrates on the trains at relatively low speed cases. With the development of rapid rail transit
the vibration effect brought by rail transit operation is becoming more and more serious. The existing research is unable to solve the current problem.Through reviewing the current research on the field measurement of ground vibration caused by rail transit operation
this paper summarizes the problems existing in the research and some suggestions on further research are put forward. For future research
it is needed to analyze the effect of various factors on the ground vibration and the dynamic stress of foundation comprehensively. This will be able to control vibration better and provide effective and economical vibration reduction and isolation measures
and it will be also beneficial to the creation of a secure
harmonious environment and a environment-friendly society.
