On the basis of analyzing the current engineering investigation and surveying information management and its application in electric power industry

this paper presents the conception of the integrated engineering investigation and design on the basis of GIS

and designs the logic model of integrated application system for information engineering investigation

and expounds the key technique of ComGIS and data fusion method used in the system.Finally

the paper introduces the design conception and realization process of modulus with systematic analysis and decision-making functions for drawing any engineering geological section and building 3D stereo-stratum model through detailed examples.
