Research on Dynamic Deformation Responses of Subway Station Structure during an Earthquake
It is important for subway construction and safe management to study the underground structure deformation during a strong earthquake. The shaking table model test is done for the typical subway sta-tion structure in soil on the basis of the geological conditions of Beijing
and the numerical calculation is made by FLAC2D.Based on the analysis of the deformation of the subway station structure
the following conclusions are drawn:the peak deformation value increases with the earthquake intensity; the strain peak and the deflection peak curvature are larger at two ends than at the middle of the midpile
so it’s prone to damage at the ends; the curvature of the sidewall deflection peak curve basically keeps constant and the sidewalls form a box type structure
so its damage may be prevented; according to the test data
the strain varies around the zero point
and the strain curves at the sidewall are similar to that under the shock load.
