In-situ stress and rock mechanical properties are two decisive factors of rockburst caused by underground tunnel excavation. In order to research the potential threat and the law of rockburst in Heishiling Tunnel excavation process
based on scene sampling in rockburst area
in-situ stress measurement by Kaiser effect method and indoor rock mechanical experiment
we investigated the mechanical properties and failure law of dolomite rock in project area. Then
based on the strength theory and the impacting energy index
we analyzed the possibility of rockburst and the way of rockburst occurrence
and provided a theoretical basis for prediction and control of rockburst. Conclusions show that the potential threat of rockburst in the area is significant. In particular
strong rockburst is likely to occur in measuring point 1 and 2.We should do our best to prevent and deal with the strong rockburst in excavation process.
