ventilation shaft construction in the running tunnel is the first case in China
As people’s awareness of environmental protection
away from the urban core area
more and more tunnel ventilation shafts would be built on the running tunnel.However
study on the tunnel displacement change due to ventilation shaft foundation construction is another new problem of geotechnical engineering area.Combined with ventilation shaft foundation of the Renmin Road tunnel
according to two working conditions
i.e.whether reducing pressure water or not
using MIDAS-GES software to analyze the running tunnel displacement
quantify the deformation degree of two conditions theoretically
discuss the feasibility of the method
and provide theoretical guidance to final choosing.The monitoring data also prove the feasibility of the method which provides an evidence for the same project construction.
