Yaoshange is a four-storey masonry structure.The wall at northwest corner of the building inclines obviously with vertical cracks in the wall and the stone columns at present.On the basis of the research of protection technology for Yaoshange pavilion
a large-scale masonry wall is studied using the proposed representative volume element in this paper.Firstly
the elastic modulus is defined as independent variable function and the optimization analysis of masonry model is performed for masonry structure in crack state.Secondly
26 stress control points are picked out and the stress envelope analysis is done with different load cases.Finally
the reasonable result for pedestrian flow control under the worst pedestrian load and rational safety factor is achieved.It proves that the research has great significance for permanent protection and rational development of ancient architectures.
