Effects of Shear Span Ratio and Shear Reinforcement Ratio on Dynamic Characteristics of Reinforced Concrete Frame Columns
Based on general-purpose finite element software ABAQUS
the reinforced concrete columns with different shear reinforcement ratio and shear span ratio were simulated under the quasi-static and dynamic loading conditions. It was found that ABAQUS simulation results and experimental results agreed well
the effect of loading rate reduced with the increase of shear span ratio.Similarly
the influence of loading rate also reduced with the increase of shear reinforcement ratio. The peak bearing capacity of reinforced concrete columns increased with the increase of loading rate
and there is no obvious change for the stiffness and ductility ratio. Thus
the effect of loading rate on reinforced concrete structure under seismic analysis should be given appropriate consideration.
