Combined drainage and reinforcement cushion is a patent technology

which can replace sand blanket in embankment construction on soft clay deposit.The material performance index of combined drainage with reinforcement cushion and the drainage design method are presented.The drainage capacity comparison between the sand blanket and the combined drainage and reinforcement cushion indicate that the latter has higher drainage capacity.Combined drainage and reinforcement cushion can meet the drainage request of embankment construction on soft clay deposit.
