With the fast development of the urban subway construction in China
the environmental vibration problem induced by passing trains in subway tunnel has aroused broad attentions of the society. The soil dynamic viscous-elastic-plastic constitutive model based on the Davidenkov model was used to describe the dynamic character of soils. The equation describing the vibration load induced by passing trains in subway tunnel was given and the characters of ground vibration induced by passing trains in subway tunnel were analyzed. The grade of ground surface vibration acceleration was used to describe the intensity of ground surface vibration
and the intensity of ground surface vibration induced by passing trains in subway tunnel was evaluated. The results can provide some basic data for the choice of subway tunnel line and mitigation of environmental vibration.
