It is a complicated nonlinear procedure to calculate the deformation against upheaval of deep foundation pit
because the factors affecting the deformation are fuzzy and random.However
the finite element analysis is an effective method to solve the problem.Based on the finite element software ABAQUS
in this paper
the heave deformation of deep foundation pit for some subway in Shanghai is analyzed.The study shows that ABAQUS has powerful capacity to analyze the contact problems in geotechnical engineering
and the Maximum deformation appears in a certain region which is not beyond the circle with radius equal to the depth of SMW pile from the wall of the deep foundation pit.The study can provide valuable reference for quantitative heave analysis for deep foundation pit.
