the land of Jiangsu Province was shocked after the Wenchuan M 8.0 Earthquake. Forty-five events consisting of 134 series of accelerations were recorded by two near-fault Temporary Storage Observation Arrays in Suqian and Liyang

and by fixed stations of Digital Strong Motion Observation Network of Jiangsu Province.These records have been processed to reveal their characteristics in time-domain and in frequency-domain.The computational spectrum intensity program SICalculate and the two-dimension interpolation program D2InterP have been implemented to compute the contours of the peak ground acceleration（PGA） and the spectrum intensity（SI） in Jiangsu with inputs from 26 groups of strong motion data recorded in the Wenchuan Earthquake.And the characteristics of the earthquake affected field in Jiangsu have been studied preliminarily in this paper as well.
