light rail transit and speed-increase of existing railways have become a tendency throughout the world. However
a series of problems on soil dynamics and geotechnical engineering induced by high-speed trains running
such as subgrade vibration
accumulative plastic deformation of soft soil foundation and so on
need to be solved immediately. This paper details with some advances in researches on dynamic response of subgrade soil
site measurement
dynamic characters of soil and accumulative plastic deformation of soft soil under repeated loading of track vehicles. Through analysis and summary of the shortages of those researches above mentioned
some suggestions for further research are pointed out in this paper.
