multi-component earthquake and their correlations are reviewed.The characteristics of earthquake components are compared in the spectral intensity ratios
frequency
duration and correlations.Second
models considering spatially variability of earthquake are discussed.The emphasis is placed on the state-of-the-art of coherency function models.Finally
three types of seismic response analysis methods considering multi-component multi-support seismic effects are compared.The three methods are spectrum analysis method
time history analysis method and random vibration analysis method.Suggestions for the further advanced study on this topic are presented.
