Abstract
The importance of fire protection design of tunnel is described in this paper.The primary objective of performance-based design is to ensure the safe evacuation of occupants.The condition is defined to judge if occupants evacuate safely and different durations of RSET are analyzed.Based on the analysis of the ASET and RSET
a method of performance-based fire protection design of tunnel is introduced.With one example
the presented method of performance-based fire protection design of tunnel is described
and the primary scheme is determined for designing space between evacuation ostiums and flow capacity of evacuation sliding board.
