Dynamic Simulation Method is used to analyze the seismic controlled structures in the paper
which focuses mainly on the procedure of dynamic simulation by the SIMULINK program. Structure with non-linear dampers is considered as a controlled system described by the dynamic differential equation in state-space method
then simulated dynamically by using SIMULINK BOX in MATLAB program and its dynamic responses under the action of frequently occurred earthquake and seldomly occurred earthquake can be obtained. A practical example is also shown in the paper
which illustrates that the dynamic response of structures with non-linear dampers under the action of earthquake can be effectively and accurately analyzed by SIMULINK program. The dynamic analysis method by SIMULINK is the combination of structural control and modern control theory which may have wide application in structural control for its convenience
