Abstract
MatDEM
a self-developed discrete element method software
was used to simulate the thermal response test(TRT)of energy PHC pile.The modeling method was proposed based on a field test.The distribution of X directional displacement in soil around the pile was obtained.The temperature transfer process between soil and the pile was investigated.By comparing with the measured temperature in the field
the effectiveness of the discrete element method in simulating the heat transfer process of energy piles was verified.This method has broad application prospects in studying the thermo-mechanical behavior of energy piles and soils.
