In order to establish a formula for calculating the shear capacity of the seismic-damaged steel reinforced concrete(SRC)columns strengthened with CFRP or enveloped steel jacket
the earthquake damage of the original column material and the difference in shear mechanism of the concrete were analyzed based on laboratory experiments.Shear bearing capacities calculated from different shear models were compared. The comparison showed that the calculated results agreed well with the experimental results
indicating that the calculation formula of shear bearing capacity of SRC columns based on strength degradation was feasible.Based on GB 50010—2010
ACI318-08
and CSA-04
three different shear models were established
and the calculated values of shear capacity were quite different. This indicated that the analysis of the shear strength of RC in the strengthened seismic-damaged SRC column cannot be ignored.
