One of the principal factor that destroys debris flow dam is the impact of big stone. In order to enhance the shock resistance of the dam
a kind of new dam with continuous crash bearer is proposed.ANSYS/LS-DYNA is applied to conduct the numerical simulation of the process that big stone impact the new dam and gravity dam
and then their impulsive dynamic responses are comprised. In addition
considering the different size
layout spacing of crash bearer and different thicknesses of the dam in the back
parameter analysis of the new dam is done. Results indicate that the new dam improves its shock resistance while also improves the utilization of the material strength
which is much better than normal gravity dam.The section height
layout spacing of crash bearer and the thickness of the dam in the back have a great influence on the shock resistance and integral rigidity of the new dam
therefore
all these factors should be take into account in designing of the new dam.
