Establishing an eight-storey three-dimensional RC frame structure with irregular local plane by finite element analysis software OpenSees
obtaining structure’s performance point vertex displacement and base shear under frequent
design and rare earthquake by Pushover analysis in the horizontal direction using uniform
nabla
parabola and first vibration mode load patterns.Then we choose two cross for Pushover analysis in two-dimensional model and compare the results with the analysis of three-dimensional model in respect of floor displacement and story drift angle.Analytical results show that uniform loading mode is not applicable for its large deviation;the nabla loading mode is proved to have well applicability in Pushover analysis of three-dimensional model.The target displacement of two-dimensional model is smaller
also the difference will be increased by the intensity of earthquake.Three-dimensional model can better reflect the locations of structural weak layer
