Based on the monitored displacement and scanned outline of island rock slope by displacement meter and 3dscanner
typical sections are selected and their stability is analyzed by the finite element strength reduction.A practical calculation method considering the effect of rainfall on the island slope stability is proposed. The effect of rainfall and toe cutting on slope stability is analyzed
and the maximum of rainfall and toe cutting for typical sections are determined. In this case
three support schemes are chosen for the typical sections
i.e.bolting support
anti-slide pile support
bolting and anti-slide pile combined support.Calculating analyses are carried out for different support schemes by using the finite element strength reduction.By comparing the safety factor of stability
plastic zone
and stress and displacement information under different support schemes
the support scheme is determined for typical sections. Finally
the economical and reasonable support scheme is obtained through the optimized calculation of some support parameters such as the dip angle
