a simple form of High Performance Ferrocement Laminate(HPFL)and brick masonry combined structural concrete column and ring beam was proposed
which is useful for masonry structures in the vast rural areas.The full-scale model experiment was taken to observe and analyze the aseismic ability of HPFL narrow strip combined structural concrete column and ring beam.The experimental results show that
HPFL narrow strip combined structural concrete column and ring beam has obviously aseismic capability
HPFL can strengthen brick masonry buildings which are existing and is suitable for new housing.Using HPFL narrow strip combined structural concrete column and ring beam to replace traditional structural concrete column and ring beam is feasible.According to experiment results and theoretical analysis
the horizontal earthquake seismic effect on masonry structure can be divided into that on walls and that on frame system two parts to analyse and calculate
a calculation formula is proposed for HPFL narrow strip combined structural concrete column and ring beam
which may give a reference to engineering structural design.
