Associating with the typical teaching building in Chinese 5.12 earthquake disaster area
the interaction between R.C.frames and stairs was explored in the thesis with the methods of elastic and elastic-plastic analysis by SAP2000
a commonly-used software of finite element analysis
thus the influences of stairs on the resistant-lateral rigidity of the frame
the maximum bending moment(under the standard response spectrum)of the structure and the dynamic characteristics are studied.A traditional design model without the participation of stairs and a contrastive analysis model with the participation of stairs are included in the analysis.The analytic methods include elastic methods such as modal analysis and the response analysis under the standard earthquake spectrum of Chinese current code and elastic-plastic methods such as static nonlinear analysis(pushover analysis)and dynamic and time-history analysis under rare occurrence earthquake。The analytic results demonstrate that the elastic-plastic analytic results in this thesis differ from the elastic results in thesis[2]with qualitative accordance and quantificational difference.The influence of the stairs in the frame structure on the development of the hinges of the components is studied in the thesis as well
the result demonstrates that the stairs remarkably affect the working performance of the surrounding components
thus affect the earthquake resistant behavior of the whole structure.
