Geo-grid reinforced retaining wall is a flexible retaining structure
and there is no strict design method for the type of reinforcement structure
and the seismic active earth pressure acting on the reinforced wall is an important research aspect for seismic design theory.A non-linear finite difference method
which is based on Lagrange method
was applied to calculate the seismic active earth pressure acting on the reinforced panel under different design parameters. The elastic-plastic model is applied to simulate the soil
and the coupled elastic parameters are applied to simulate the interaction between backfill soil and geo-grid.The design parameters include reinforcement spacing
reinforcement length
stiffness of geo-grid
seismic intensity and stiffness of backfill soil and foundation. The distribution form and value of seismic active earth pressure along the reinforced retaining wall height are studied. Some parameters sensitive to seismic active earth pressure acting on the panel of the reinforced soil retaining wall are achieved
and high absorption ability is certified under earthquake
which will provide some reference to the study of seismic earth pressure in seismic design of geo-grid reinforced soil retaining wall with integral panel.
