Through comparative analysis on shaking table test of three-span continuous girder bridge models with Laminated Rubber Bearing(LB)and Lead Rubber Bearing(LRB)
the dynamic characteristics
failure process and the seismic response influence of the two types of bridges comparatively.The results show that:Seismic wave characteristics have great influence on the seismic response of bridge
so rational choosing of ground motion input is very important in the seismic isolation design of bridge;When the earthquake intensity is low
the sliding of LB has some effect on seismic isolation
while the LRB has perfect seismic performance;LRB can’t achieve full potential isolation performance during high intensity earthquake
and the seismic response of LRB bridge almost the same as LB bridge;These two kinds of bridges can both achieve the fortification goal of surviving strong earthquake through reasonable design.
