Taking a typical subway station as engineering background
the two common construction methods
top-down method and hole-pile method
are adopted to simulate the excavation of the subway station.In order to analysis the displacement caused by top-down method and holepile method
the numerical analysis technique is adopted to simulate the construction process of the subway station excavated in span with these two methods separately.Comparison charts of surface settlement
lateral horizontal displacement of piles and floor uplift are obtained by computation.The simulation result shows that the hole-pile method is superior to the top-down method in controlling displacement.The research can help deeply understand the mechanism of top-down method and hole-pile methods
and provide valuable reference for similar projects.
