The reflected wave method is used to evaluate the integrity of the anchorage system
and the stress wave velocity in anchorage system is the most basic parameter. However
it is very difficult to measure the parameter since it is affected by many factors.Based on the reflected wave method with low strain
the transient dynamic response of anchorage systems with different anchorage medium and surrounding rock were conducted and the stress wave velocity in anchorage system was obtained
and the stress wave velocity in the material of anchorage medium was obtained with ultrasonic method. The results show:(1) both kinds of wave velocity are related to the strength of the anchorage medium;(2) the stress wave velocity in anchorage system ranges from which in the material of anchorage medium to in free steel bar;(3) both kinds of wave velocity vary in exponential law;(4) they are mutually symmetric with a certain wave velocity. This provides a new idea for the solution to the stress wave velocity in anchorage system.
