To find effective aseismic measures for museum cultural relics
the development and application of isolation devices for cultural relics based on passive control techniques were studied using classification method.Different types of isolation devices from overseas were discussed
their isolation mechanisms as well as isolation results were analysed and helpful advices were proposed.Results show that development and application of passive isolation devices for museum cultural relics in foreign countries are more widely than those at home.On one hand
different types of level vibration isolation devices such as rolling roller
rolling wheel
rolling ball
sliding block
SMA(Shape Memory Alloy)
magnet stone
constant-load spring
laminated rubber and so on have appeared.On the other hand
vertical vibration isolation devices based on parallel links
negative stiffness setups
constant-load springs
air springs
linear guiders
torsion springs and so on have been developed.By rational selection and utilization
these devices can achieve well performance.Besides
the development of new technology makes the application of smaller and higher efficiency isolation devices for museum cultural relics possible.
